I haven't abandoned this journal after all! In fact I kind of missed it. My word it's been forever since I've been on here, and I kind of feel bad about it. First off, thanks to everyone who offered condolences after Lavi's death. We still don't know why he died, and I think it's made us a touch paranoid. Every time so much as eats less than it usually eats or doesn't eat at all we get all nervous... only to find out the dog got into the kittens' chow and that's why they're not hungy or they're puking ( Read more... )

I haven't been on here in ages and here I am with nothing but sad. We just lost our dog, Lavi, today. He was sick something fierce Sunday - throwing up constantly until he started throwing up blood. We took him to the vet and the vet wanted him taken upstate for a blood transfusion, but not even halfway there he didn't make it. We're not sure what ( Read more... )

Welp, we got rid of Dish. So it 'll just be basic channels for us. We felt we were paying too much for something we pretty much weren't using. Most of the shows my mom watches are on basic channels such as Fox, CBS and so on, while the only thing I watch is either Netflix or stuff on Youtube. So after having spent pretty much my entire life pretty much not having a job... pretty much (except for a few cleaning gigs and two very, very short-lived stints), I'm finally employed! I'll be working for our church doing some cleaning as needed, possibly even some running around shopping for and maybe preparing some food. So it's part-time work ( Read more... )

December is being interesting this year, it seems. For one, we're actually - finally -getting some real winter weather: cold tempreatures and even snow.
